The Château de Werde is located 25 kilometres south of Strasbourg in the heart of a landscaped garden by the river Ill. This castle used to belong to the Landgraves de Werde and used to be a political Mecca in the Middle-Age. Rebuilt in the 19th century and renovated in 2005, the Château de Werde combines all modern comfort with the charm of ancient furniture in a natural and preserved setting.
